*bangs head on desk*

Grr. I friggen hate midterms. It's like, for 2 solid weeks the only thing you can think is "MIDTERMS MIDTERMS MIDTERMS STUDY STUDY STUDY". First, it ruins any possibilities of doing anything remotely fun with friends (and of course there's more fun things happening during midterms than any other time). Second, since you're so focused on studying for midterms, you push all of your other schoolwork aside, and as a result become VERY behind in everything else. I have to catch up on like, 2 weeks of calculus work, 2 weeks of chem (with a quiz that I have to do sometime before wednesday!), 2 weeks of physics, and try and teach myself all the programming I haven't been doing...it's like, I'm FINALLY friggen done midterms and I just want to RELAX but I can't because I have so much other work to do!

I ask myself again why I didn't just become a rock star/artist...You see, they'd feed off each other. If people heard my music, they'd find out I did art and then buy my art since they like my music. If people saw my art, they'd find out about my music and then go listen to my music. So I'd make double the money. Except for the whole not being super-amazing at either art or music....hm. I guess that solves it then. Back to biochemistry for me. *sigh*

Welcome to university, Joanna. I wish I could tell you it gets easier, but that wouldn't be realistic. It sucks most of the time, but you get used to it sucking. The up side of that is that good things seem reeeeeeally good.
