If you haven't seen Across the Universe yet, SEE IT NOW. Like, drop whatever you're doing and go see the next show. It's that amazing. Yes, it does get pretty psychedelic at some points, but that really just adds to the feel of the movie. I mean, they just made the songs fit with the plot so well (or vice versa, I suppose). Amazing. 31 Beatles songs throughout the movie, it's awesome. I wanted to sing along the whole movie but I decided that would be a little annoying to those sitting around me (also since I smacked Ronnie for singing at first lol). I want to see it again. and again and again and again. I haven't loved a movie I've seen in theatres this much in a long time.
Jim Sturgess is my new favourite actor. Cute, British, AND he can sing. Move over, Jake Gyllenhaal.
Also, before I saw the movie I wondered why people would want to listen to the soundtrack since it's just Beatles songs so why wouldn't they just listen to the original? but after seeing the movie, I can fully understand why. *listens to soundtrack over and over and over*

That movie is soooo amazing though. I can't wait until it comes out on DVD! :D
