Library.

I come to the library to study because the whole idea of a library is that it's quiet. Something which my rez is never, except between the hours of 8am and 11am, when people are still sleeping. Anyhoo. So I'm sitting in my favourite area (see this post), and it IS a so-called "quiet study area". It has signs. And I think it's safe to assume that most people who are studying in this area have 2 eyes and can see and, since they are at university, read properly. However, people for some reason still feel they are able to talk. It's quite ridiculous. I mean, it's not on-going, solid talk, but you know...their friend will come up and start quietly talking to them (yes, TALKING), or at least whispering, which is JUST as annoying, or someone answers a cell phone...It's very rude and completely inconsiderate. I feel bad when I open a crinkly wrapper of some food item, let alone TALKING ON A CELL PHONE. IN A QUIET STUDY AREA OF THE LIBRARY. Or people walk by, having conversations. It's like. HMMM. There's STUDY BOOTHS COMPLETELY FULL of people...it's during exams...I dunno...ya think that maybe, just MAYBE they're trying to study? SERIOUSLY PEOPLE. SHUT THE *BEEEEEEP* UP!!!

I know what you mean, but you seem to be overly stressed about it. Which is understandable considering exams. I was sitting in the cute little quiet reading room with comfy chairs and these girls were talking, well whispering, but yes that is just as annoying. Someone finally told them to shut up and they left. It's times like these I'm glad my rez is quiet.

quiet and rez are 2 words that are pretty much polar opposites for me. when I think quiet I definitely don't think rez. And I no longer think library, either. NOTHING IN THIS WORLD IS QUIET ANYMORE. *eye twitches* ok I'm calm. Back to studying my friend, back to studying.
