I've watched about 20 episodes of Gilmore girls in the past week, because it's summer and I can do whatever I want. The end of season 4 and half of season 5. I started with season 1 at the beginning of the school year...I'm watching the entire series over, start to end. And, with this re-watching, and with this re-watching happening in a fairly short period of time, I'm gaining new perspectives on certain things. For example, I actually like Logan. I mean, he's still not my favourite Rory-boyfriend, that will always be Jess (although the whole "come away with me!" thing was a little lame and I can understand Rory for not going for it, and he DID leave twice without saying goodbye...he's still a damn attractive bad boy)....um where was I...ah, right. Logan. Despite his annoying super-rich-spoiled-boy attitude, I can see why Rory falls for him (other than just his good looks, because, those he's got in plenty). Maybe he's just very smooth, which I think is what bothered me about him the first time. Plus, the whole Rory & Dean thing the second time, when Dean's married and then not married is just very not right, they should have known that it wouldn't work. But anyhoo. And I mean, I know there's Marty, and I really wanted Rory and Marty to hook up when I originally saw the show on tv, but, I think her and Logan are alright.
Also. The episode where Lorelai and Luke break up, after Lorelai's parents 40th wedding anniversary-vow-renewal thing, is THE saddest episode ever. *sigh*
Yeah this was a pretty useless post if you don't watch Gilmore girls. (PS: if you don't, you should. Even if you're a guy. I know tons of guys who watch it.)
