There is some sort of bird outside my window that insists upon making this annoying hoot hoot sound. It's not night so I don't think it's an owl (plus, who actually even sees owls? I think they're actually just a made-up animal)...more likely it's some sort of fat dove. Either way, I am TRYING to study genetics but this annoying hooting is distracting me, and makes me think of this scene from Failure to Launch. (warning: watching the following video may give away some of the plot of said movie...but it IS a Matthew McConaughey movie so it's predictable anyways hahahaaa). As a side note, Zooey Deschanel (actress who plays Kit) in this movie is one of my favourite movie characters ever...her insanity caused by the mockingbird is just hilarious.
