Slightly creeped out.

Ok, I realize that if I am inputting personal information about myself on a website there's probably something in their privacy policy that says they can give it to whoever they want, but does anyone actually read that? When you signed up for facebook did you read what they can do with all that information you're giving them? I know I certainly didn't...so I can't really complain if they do anything weird with it.

That being said, facebook ads still creep me out. They MUST have some sort of creepy algorithm that looks through your interests and likes and RELATIONSHIP STATUS and puts ads according to what you'd like...For example, let's just open up facebook and see what ads I get...Oh! Look at that. Ad number 1: Scrapapalooza Weekend. Ad number 2: Gilmore Girls Trivia. Ad number 3: The Photography Institute. Creepy! And more often than not I've had "Meet cute guys online" ads, and they MUST know that I'm a girl because that would be very wierd if guys had that ad. Unless they were gay of course, but then, facebook would probably know that too. And I certainly never get "Meet cute girls online" ads. Because facebook knows that I am interested in Men.

...not that any of this would ever make me give up facebook...

If you're using firefox you can block Facebook ads. I'd forgotten they even had them.

BAHAHAHAHHAHHAHAHA. AHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHA. Oh man that made me laugh. You are hilarious. That is pretty strange though. Never really thought about that. haha. Why do I always get stupid ones that make me roll my eyes though. Like fashion things? (buy great shoes etc)
