Stupid Art.

Also, I'm very frustrated with art right now. Mostly my art teacher, so I'll start with her. We've always had TONS of time to work on our art projects, I've only had to go in at lunch ONCE to work on my art; whereas last year I'd be in a few lunch hours a week; the problem with this, as you're probably wondering, is that now it's down to crunch time - we've got to start our summative in 2 weeks, so that's we'll have 2 weeks for each part of our summative (we have to do 3 pieces...) - and she still needs to do acrylic painting, silk screening, and MORE art history. THUS...I've got an acrylic self portrait due on Friday. For those of you who aren't aware, acrylics take a long time because you have to build them up in layers...my still life acrylic from last year took me AGES. PLUS I've got to DRAW a self portrait first, and all of the sketches I've been doing have SUCKED. A LOT. And I don't know why, because I know I can do a self portrait since I did one in grade 10, and it's one of my best pieces...you can actually tell it's me! (come to my cottage if you ever want to see it :P) ALAS I've been drawing really terribly lately, and I don't know why, but I hate when this happens. Every now and then, it happens, but I don't know what causes it! I think it's partially because when I try too hard things start turning out worse than if I didn't care...But I can't stop caring because I really want this painting to turn out! ARG! AND on top of this stressful acrylic being due on Friday, I've got like 20 art history questions due too! AND we can't take the textbooks home, AND we're working on the acrylics ON TOP OF THAT!! AHHHHH *goes insane*

gr. I hope I get over this "artists block" soon. Cuz I kinda need to...
