Generic Rock

Is it just me or does Our Lady Peace's new song, All You Did Was Save My Life sound RIDICULOUSLY similar to Where Are You??? I mean honestly. The verses at the start are exactly the same. The first time I heard "All you did was save my life" I actually thought it was "Where are you". Oh Our Lady Peace, how you have fallen...seems like they've caught Nickleback Syndrome where all of their songs sound EXACTLY THE SAME. Unfortunate.

Well I hate to just blindly agree with you, but you couldn't be more right! I guess bands do it because their afraid of going outside of their box and losing fan base (yeah one person can be a base). But so many supa successful people have ventured outside the box and...well become successful, like Dylan, RHCP, The Clash, Beatles, and even though not "successful" (but really they are because of how outrageously awesome they are) The Golden dogs, just check out "elevator man" and "cunstruction worker", different enough styles on the same album. Needless to say if everyone was just a tiny unmeasureable amount more like you the world would be a much more diversely musically enjoyable place.
