O Tannenbaum, O Tannenbaum

Yes, Christmas trees like this one are beautiful...but where is the personality? Where is the individuality? WHERE IS THE LOVE? I love our Christmas tree. Packed full of ornaments, it gets harder every year to find a spot for them all! Some are actually pretty, but my favourite are the ugliest ones. And the ones with the most meaning. Here's my top 5:

1. The Ugly Turtle

I'm pretty sure this is the ugliest ornament on our tree. Yes I love turtles....and this German-blown glass one is so ugly it's awesome!

2. It's a Small World After Alllllll
Honest to God, I can't tell you how many times I've ridden this ride at Disney World. Like multiple times on the same trip. I personally LOVE the song and could never ever get sick of it! It's the best ride ever. For those of you who have never experienced the joy in person, check out this video.

3. "I'm Yukon Cornelius! The Greatest Prospector in the North!"
When you push Yukon Cornelius's pom-pom, he goes into this huge long rambling quote from the movie. It's pretty much the best thing ever. Tacky and awesome. Also, Rudolph's nose flashes and makes that annoying sound his nose makes when it lights up. You know the sound. High pitched and makes you twitch.

4. Howdy Doody
Appropriate, I think. If you've never heard of Howdy Doody before, SHAME, SHAME ON YOU. Plus it was in Indiana Jones 4, playing on the TV before Indy climbed into that fridge. Ch-ch-check it out!

5. Lumpy Star
For lack of anything else to call it, this is a lumpy star I made out of homemade playdough when I was in Kindergarten. It's not even close to flat. Also note the lovely brown pipe cleaner it's hanging from.

And with that, I'll leave you with a Merry Christmas!
