my summer reading list

I'm reading all the Harry Potter books again this summer. I read HP & the Philosopher's Stone in 2 days (it's really quite short, especially in comparison to books 4-7)...and then I watched the movie afterwards. I haven't seen it in years, actually. I liked that, reading the book first and then watching the movie. Good for comparison. The movie is really just like a quick summary of the book...they changed a few bits, but it actually stuck pretty well to the book. The only thing that really bothered me was that they took out the part where Hermione figures out which potion to use to get through the fire...That's really where she shines. I mean, they said that her part in it was getting out of the plant that they landed in after coming through the trap door, but when I read the book that's not how it seemed. Seems like she didn't do as much work as the other 2.

So, I'm going to do that for all the books and movies (or, at least up to movie #5); read the book, then watch the movie. Tee hee. Should be quite excellent. I really need to read book 7 again, because last summer I read it faster than I've read any other book (due to threats of the ending being revealed by a certain person at work...*cough*Spencer*cough*). Before I move on to The Chamber of Secrets (potentially my fav HP book. I'll decide for sure after reading all 7. Or the Goblet of Fire.) though, I'm going to read The Other Boleyn Girl, because my aunt loaned it to my mom and my mom tore through it, which means it must be good.
