Ahh, I'm in my glory.

Although it feels like I haven't done anything this summer, that's really not entirely true. There was a ton more stuff that I wanted to do, and never got around to (ie: I've got about 10 canvases I was planning on doing something with...I still have about 10 more scrapbook pages to do...I wanted to make a pencil case and a laptop case, but never got around to it...I had fabric for at least 3 more purses...) BUT let's show off some stuff I DID do, ok? ok! :D

First, we have my...movie series. Yes, I love a good chick flick. Can't help it. The Notebook, Pride and Prejudice, and The Princess Bride. 3 of my favourites :D (all 3 will soon be adorning my dorm room walls!)

Also adorning my dorm room walls will be this lovely mirror. $1.99 from Ikea, and the...4th one I've painted. The colours match my bed sheets for my dorm! whoo :D

My Sgt. Pepper's bag! The front logo was from a t-shirt I bought last summer, and then somehow managed to get a lovely stain on it, so it was sadly no longer wearable...hence the turning into a purse! I found the fabric at the fabric store in Wiarton, and the "pattern" is based off of my "All the good ones are gay" bag :P

The only REAL painting I did this summer...it's based off a photo I took :)

Ok, so this isn't really a craft I did this summer...I bought them at the store (when I say "the store", I obviously mean the store I work at, lol)...but they're SO cute! Also for my dorm room, lol. I just have no idea what to put in them.

side note: I'm not AS scared for university anymore :o)

Well you got a heck of a lot more done than I did. *Recalls list of things I was going to do this summer*. Yeah, I did pretty much nothing. And now that summer's almost over I feel like I'm stuck between the worlds of highschool and university right now and

I LOVE MY BOXES!
Currently, there is nothing in them, but they do look pretty. Maybe I should commission you to paint something for my room. You are so talented, Jo! Also, university is scary, but it's the most fun you will ever have. I promise. Just don't spill soup all over your stuff the first day of class, and you'll be fine :o)
